Russian National Ballet - Cinderella


In the grand tradition of Russian ballet, these graceful dancers from Moscow perform one of the most exquisite fairy tale ballets of all time. Cinderella is the iconic tale of the virtuous servant girl who, with the help of her fairy godmother, is magically transformed, attends the royal ball, and captures the heart of the prince. This ballet masterpiece is filled with sumptuous costumes, lush scenery, comical stepsisters and a malevolent stepmother.

Budweiser Storm Festival


EDM megafest Storm is back for its fourth year in Shanghai, with backing once again from Budweiser. With headliners Alesso, Hardwell and Skrillex confirmed, as well as Oliver Heldens, Duke Dumont and RL Grime. Iconic UK DJ Pete Tong will also be making an appearance.

Whales, Stories of Giants


Put on your 3D glasses and follow a giant whale from South America to traverse time and space! Whales, Stories of Giants is an innovative and interdisciplinary dance performance inspired by stories and legends from Mexican and Chilean traditions. The interactivity between dance and 3D projections allows the viewer to become immersed in these ancient stories, updated with a contemporary aesthetic and narrative.

The highly acclaimed Russian State Ballet bring the famous show 'The Nutcracker' to Shanghai in October. The Nutcracker Ballet is based on the story "The Nutcracker and the King of Mice" written by E.T.A. Hoffman.  Although what is seen on the stage today is different in detail from the original story, the basic plot remains the same; The story of a young German girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a fierce battle against a Mouse King with seven heads.
